Seed map › Versions › Bedrock 1.20

Bedrock Edition 1.20, Trails and Tales, was released on June 7, 2023. It added cherry groves, trail ruins and archaeology. This Minecraft Bedrock 1.20 seed map shows your world with the 1.20 generator. Enter your seed to find pink cherry groves, buried trail ruins, warm ocean ruins and every other Bedrock structure.

Cherry Groves and Trail Ruins on Bedrock

The cherry grove is a mountain biome similar to a meadow. It is full of cherry trees with forked trunks and round pink canopies. Some trees carry bee nests. Pigs, sheep, rabbits and bees spawn there.

Trail ruins are buried structures with a tower, a path along the bottom and side rooms. They generate in taigas, snowy taigas, old growth taigas, old growth birch forests and jungles. Inside, you will find mud bricks, terracotta, glazed terracotta and suspicious blocks hiding armor trims and pottery sherds.

Archaeology Sites on the Map

Suspicious sand and gravel give you a reason to revisit old structures. Here is where they generate:

  • Suspicious sand: warm ocean ruins, desert temples, desert wells and trail ruins
  • Suspicious gravel: cold ocean ruins and trail ruins

Each site has its own loot table. Warm ocean ruins are the place for sniffer eggs. Hatch them on moss blocks for a faster result, about 10 minutes instead of 20.

Seeds Across Versions and Editions

Against Bedrock 1.19, terrain stays mostly the same. However, cherry groves now appear on some mountain slopes, and trail ruins add new structure spots.

Against Java 1.20, terrain and biomes match for the same seed. Cherry groves sit in the same places on both. Trail ruins and other structures, however, use different placement rules on Bedrock.

Moving to Bedrock 1.21, the surface stays put while trial chambers appear underground.

Checking Your Version and Using the Minecraft Bedrock 1.20 Seed Map

Open Settings and look near the bottom for the version number. Then try these tips:

  • Look at mountain areas for pink cherry groves with biome colors on.
  • Enable the trail ruins marker, then brush carefully around the tower top.
  • Mark warm ocean ruins and bring a brush for sniffer eggs.
  • Combine a desert temple and a desert well in one archaeology trip.

Pottery Sherds and Armor Trims

Trail ruins are the richest archaeology site in the game. According to the wiki, they hold four armor trims and seven pottery sherds.

Sherds let you decorate pots. Craft four sherds or bricks into a decorated pot, and each side shows the pattern you used. The trims from trail ruins are the wayfinder, raiser, shaper and host smithing templates. Apply them at a smithing table to give your armor a unique look.

Brushing takes time, and the blocks break if you dig them instead. So use a brush on every suspicious block, and do not rush. One ruin can take a while to clear, but the rewards are worth it.

Store the sherds you find, since a full set lets you design any pot you like.
