Seed map › Versions › Java 1.21.3

Java Edition 1.21.2, Bundles of Bravery, was released on October 22, 2024, and 1.21.3 followed a day later as a hotfix. Both use the same world generation. This Minecraft 1.21.3 seed map covers them. Enter your seed to find trial chambers, villages, strongholds and every other structure, then copy their coordinates.

What Bundles of Bravery Changed in Generation

Bundles of Bravery is mostly about bundles, new minecarts and quality-of-life fixes. In the default world, the main generation changes target trial chambers:

  • New hallway variations, including short "encounters" that lead to a bigger chamber
  • Traps no longer generate hidden behind walls
  • Beds in intersections now come in random colors
  • The empty chests at the entrance became a hopper and a barrel
  • Some slime trial spawners moved so they work without digging out terrain

Biomes, terrain and other structures did not change.

The Experimental Pale Garden

Version 1.21.2 also added the Winter Drop experiment. With that toggle on, the pale garden biome generates, along with pale oaks, pale moss and creaking hearts. Without it, worlds look like regular 1.21.

This map shows the default generation. If you turned on the experiment, check the 1.21.4 map instead. The pale garden became a normal part of the game there.

Do 1.21.1 and 1.21.4 Seeds Match?

Against 1.21.1, almost everything matches. Trial chambers still generate in the same spots. Only their inner layout differs a bit because of the new hallways.

Against 1.21.4, the gap is bigger. That version made pale gardens standard, and they replace parts of dark forests. So a dark forest you see on this map may be partly grey in 1.21.4.

Check Your Version, Then Use the Minecraft 1.21.3 Seed Map

Read the version in the bottom-left of the title screen, or check the profile in the launcher's Installations tab. Both 1.21.2 and 1.21.3 fit this page.

  • Turn on the trial chamber marker. Chambers sit deep underground, usually below Y 0.
  • Look for copper and tuff in nearby caves. They often mean a chamber is close.
  • Pack plenty of food and blocks. The new encounter hallways add more fights before the big rooms.
  • Find a village near spawn first, so you have a bed and supplies for the trip down.

Getting to a Trial Chamber Fast

The game tries to place one trial chamber in every 34 by 34 chunk region. That is roughly one chamber every 544 blocks. So in most worlds, at least one sits within a short walk of spawn.

Plan your route like this:

  • Find the nearest chamber marker and copy its coordinates.
  • Walk to the spot on the surface, then dig down in a staircase.
  • Stop around Y −20, where most rooms sit.
  • Light your path, so you can find the way back up.

Once inside, the new encounter hallways come first. Clear them before you push into the larger rooms. Then use your trial keys on the vaults.

A final note on loot. The hopper and barrel at the entrance replaced the old empty chests, so do not expect loot there. The real rewards wait in the vaults deeper inside.

FAQ

Is 1.21.3 different from 1.21.2 for seeds?

No. 1.21.3 was a hotfix released a day after 1.21.2, and both generate the same world.

Does 1.21.3 have the pale garden?

Only with the Winter Drop experimental toggle turned on. In a normal world, the pale garden arrives in 1.21.4.

What changed in trial chambers?

New hallway variations, random bed colors, no traps behind walls and a hopper and barrel at the entrance instead of empty chests.

Do trial chambers move between 1.21.1 and 1.21.3?

No. Their positions stay the same. Only some inner pieces changed.
